Roberts Gray Lawyers is now offering an annual $5,000 scholarship to an Australian law student to support pursuit of excellence in law.

Consideration will be given to supporting students who are addressing disadvantage and/or overcoming adversity.

Scholarship winners may have access to mentoring arrangements.

To apply for the Roberts Gray Lawyers Scholarship Program you need to be:

• 18 years or older
• An Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Enrolled in a legal degree or certificate of law at any Australian university or registered training organisation.
• Satisfactorily completed at least one year of legal studies.

We appreciate a diverse range of applicants and encourage all eligible students to apply.

The Roberts Gray Lawyers Scholarship Program provides $5000 for a selected student each year.

All submissions must comply with the requirements listed below and will be reviewed by Principals of Roberts Gray Lawyers. Selected applicants will then be shortlisted before a winner is chosen by a review panel, using our selection criteria. The winner will be notified no later than the end of February.

Your application should include an executive summary (not more than one page) that outlines a value proposition i.e. why you are studying law, what you would like to achieve and why Roberts Gray Lawyers should assist you. Supporting documents (no more than two pages), should give a summary of your progress with your studies and any other valid information or “argument” that supports your application. Creativity and innovation in applications will be respected.  Clear commitment to commercial law will be an advantage.
